Auxiliary programs may be offered separately, or in combination with a core program, to address a school’s expanded academic needs. While aligned with state standards, they do not include pre- and post assessments.

Writing Enrichment
An instructional program that helps to develop written composition skills. Each lesson:
• builds students’ background knowledge
• develops vocabulary
• guides students through prewriting, drafting, sharing and revision, editing and developing a final draft
• provides students the opportunity to publish their final compositions

Education Station Science Adventures
A 20-hour hands-on academic science program aligned to
state and National Science Education Standards that:
• helps students to achieve scientific literacy
• covers life science and chemistry
• develops science vocabulary
• allows students to apply concepts through experiments and hands-on activities
