All About Camp

Science Adventures engages your child in exciting and educational hands-on science programs. The day camp format allows your child to participate in involved, multi-day projects such as constructing roller coasters, building and launching model rockets, and engineering an electric race car! Camp features include:

  • 20 make-and-take science projects each week (10 for Half Day campers)
  • Daily camp hours from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for Half Day campers)
  • Small group instruction
  • Staffed with experienced educators
  • Complimentary camp Visor
  • Collectible pins for each topic
  • Lots of fun summer memories!

Programming
Science Adventures summer camps expose boys and girls in grades 1-6 to foundational science concepts through challenging projects and highly trained staff.

Our curriculum focuses on:

  • Chemistry - Properties of matter: structure, composition and reaction 
  • Life Science - Living organisms: characteristics, life cycles, and environments 
  • Earth Science - Earth's structure and its four major interacting systems: geosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere, and bio-sphere 
  • Physics - Properties and motion of objects and learning about energy: light, heat, electricity and magnetism 

Our program is aligned with the National Science Standards.

Camp Days and Times

  • Week-long science camps, Monday - Friday. 
  • Full day schedule is 9am to 3:30pm.
  • Half-day schedule is 9am to 12pm.
  • We do not offer extended care before or after our programs.
  • July 4th Holiday
    • 4-day camp (M-Th) during the week of July 4th
    • No camp on July 4th
    • Reduced pricing for the week of July 4th
